Katie Boulter has a coach with her provided by LTA but don't know if he is giving any help or advice to the others. If not the rest of them are on their own.

Thanks for that. Again, I wonder how that works in practice. i.e. does the coach help the others with advice if they ask and he/she happens to be free? Does he ask Harriet/whoever to hit with Katie and then give them feedback too? Does he stick in his own corner with 'I'm only being paid to work with Katie' printed on his forehead?
Katy and Harriet save more MPs and finally have their own MP - which they win ! 14-12 in the MTB :)
SO three teams through to the semi-finals - and the only one who lost was Katie B which 'doesn't matter' coz she's got her singles still going on . . . All good . .

Unfortunately, generally it's the latter. However, as Katy D, Harriet and Eden (briefly) were part of the LTA elite performance group training at the NTC, I'm pretty certain that in this instance they may benefit from Katie's coach - indeed there may even be some formal arrangement in place for them to access the coach on this trip. I'm also pretty certain that Dominique, Dasha and Sabrina will notice no increased support due to an LTA presence at the tournament!
Just doing a bit of early preparation for next week's GB top 25 table and trying to work out who will replace Pippa Horn when she drops out of the rankings on Monday week.
I think it will be Eden - with her gaining a point from this event and Fran due to drop one, they should all have 8 points on 5 May but I think Eden and Jess will be ahead of Fran on tiebreak because they each have a main tour point (from Birmingham WTA qwcs, though if I remember right, both got thrashed in qr1) whereas Fran does not and then Eden will edge Jess because she will have picked up her 8 points from 7 scoring tournaments to Jess's 8 from 8.

Katie normally has Jeremy Bates with her, but i've no idea if he is out there this week.
If an LTA coach is away with a player and there are other GB players out there, he/she should provide coaching where possible. Jeremy would normally hit with Katie and watch the match and discuss tactics etc but there should be plenty of time for LTA coaches in general to help others.

You'd hope so, wouldn't you .. ..It's a shame if the Optimist is right and it just doesn't happen. Of course, not all players would want it, which is fair enough, they may have their own methods or feel that the coach doesn't know them as players and so can't add anything of real value. But I'd have thought that the younger ones in particular would love to have some expert help. I hope the coaches do it even it's not in their remit.
Sorry, new, I don;t think I said Harriet WAS flat, (I wasn't there so obviosuly have no idea). I said that it was a big risk that she MIGHT be flat as it's a very common problem with juniors who've just won a big match. That was why I was curious to know if she had a coach out there (to highlight the risk and give her a 'plan' to combat it).
But you're quite right, Emma is a very good player; although she hasn't marked up much in the way of victories (often due to retirements), she's definitely under-ranked. But I certainly didn't mean to take anything away from Harriet - it's been a good tournament.
