RE: Week 17 - ITF ($10K) - Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Hard

It's all unravelling for Sabrina in the 3rd set, I'm afraid - Tretyak has a double break 6-7(8) 6-0 *0-4

Dasha is serving for the 1st set though, a double break up *5-2

Tretyak is serving for the match but Sabrina has saved at least one match point - deuce.

Another MP, also saved ... and another, also saved

Break point ... saved ... break points 2 and 3 come and go as well

4th bp ... but that's saved too and now Tretyak has another match point ...

Tretyak wins 7-6(8) 0-6 6-2 - weird match

Katie will walk into the quarters as she is playing either an unranked Indian with no pedigree or an unrranked qualifier both of whom have barely won a match at seniors.

Excellent wins for Katie and Dasha. Jaggy is right, Katie should easily get through the next round as well.

Shame for Sabrina but at least an easy win for her in the doubles, easy win also for Eden and partner, win for Katie and partner, and Katy and Harriet too although this time via w/o. (but Dommie lost her doubles)

Harriet running away with the match 4-1 up in the second set.

Harriet on her day can beat most at 10K level, but she doesn't have that many days. She is definitiely underranked.

Katy still having issues with her serve by the looks of the scoreboard.

A huge long game at 4-1 and Katy finally breaks to get it back to 4-2*

Always tricky when friends play each other and steven's head-to-heads show how close they are (Harriet won last time).

And with Harriet over a year younger (a big deal at this age) it's great to see her playing well.

C'mon Harriet - can't help feeling she 'deserves' this match - but it's going to be real tricky to close it out

Impressive from Harriet, who seems to have Katy's number after beating her last year too. She'll play former top 50 player Emma Laine in R2.

Early break for Dominique 3*-2 up. However i'm not sure this week will be the week for that elusive first point.
