With no seed in sight until the SFs, it would be nice for James to pick up some points on top of the 8 defending that he's matched. Of course, with him beating the 7th seed convincingly, it's not hard to lose a little confidence against a Q. Still, good luck to the guy!

With all those points from China coming off in a couple of weeks, he really needs to grasp the opportunity... It is streamed at a reasonable, I'm looking forward to watching!

Ken and Neal are second up on court 4 - so in about 30 mins or so

I noticed on the ATP site, the schedule suggests entertainment until 18.30. This must mean the Bogomolov game will be a disappointmentbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

With no points to defend next week and James' appearance at the Savannah 50k, a good run here would definitely help with the 51 due to come off. If I've looked correctly, including 14-28 April, James has 59 (?) coming off. An SF appearance here would definitely help to soften that China blow and give him ample opportunity to accrue more points over the next two tournaments, with 24 more points necessary in order to break even over two 50ks. Or maybe I got that all wrong. biggrin

 

And James starts well, at least, breaking. *1-0.
