Some 'interesting' draws and one that is definitely awful:
L32: Josh Milton WR 530 v (1) Filip Krajinovic (SRB) WR 223 (CH 170 in 2010) L32: (4) Dave Rice WR 286 v (WC) Devin McCarthy (USA) WR 788 (= CH) L32: (8) Ed Corrie WR 348 v Jeff Dadamo (USA) WR 592 (CH 480 in 2012) L32: (SE) Danny Manlow UNR v (WC) Chris Wettengell (USA) UNR (CH 548 in 2007) L32: (2) Dan Smethurst WR 272 v Ryan Agar (AUS) WR 729 (CH 685 in Sep)
Ed v Dadamo H2H 0-2 - the American won in 2 sets in 2012, 7-5 in the 3rd in Houston last October.
The winners of Ed and Danny's matches will meet in R2, with Dan also in the same quarter.

No surprise about the top seeds in the doubles, but a rotten draw for young Danny - & a new partner for Ed:
R1: (1) Dave Rice & Sean Thornley CR 439 (220+219) vs Danny Manlow & Antso Rakotondramanga (MAD) UNR R1: (3) Ed Corrie & Josh Milton CR 1037 (218+819) vs Ryan Agar & Maximiliano Colorado (AUS/USA) UNR
Singles draws range from quite helpful (two lower-half Dans) to dreadful. Glad to see that Mr Smethurst is taking a rest from doubles: reaching two sets of finals weekly must have been a huge drain of late, and they're now pretty safely in consideration territory.
Funny that last week he was the only one of the Brits who didn't play R1 until Wednesday then this week he is the only one playing R1 singles before Wednesday.
