You might have noticed Liam's slightly odd celebration at the end He explains:
"Wowza. Another 3hr battle won. Not sure how. Just kept on going and eventually got on top. Apologies for my celebratory sprint to the net ... afterwards, I was pretty pumped and rather than shout something I just ran... #ForrestGump"

I think (though not certain) that the largely British doubles SF disappeared off the scoreboard long before it ended (I looked at the stream, and it appeared to be ongoing - you could see a glimpse or two in the margins of the screen ... but hard to tell). The other men's singles QF is also still going on - maybe by midnight they'll know who plays tomorrow! And having lost the first set 6-2, Mr Golding and his Qatari partner had the chance to serve for the second, but were broken, so it's on serve at 4-5.

No wonder Liam was a bit confused (on Twitter) - Bossel was a bit lucky to be seeded ahead of him.
At the entry date, Liam was 7 places ahead (460 to 467) and now Liam is 9 places ahead (468 to 477) but at the seeding date (i.e. last week), Bossel was 2 places ahead, 469 to 471!
Another quick stat - Oli's bagel today was the 7th he has handed out in singles so far this year, making him equal top for bagels handed out in 2014 along with two Slovakians, Beck and Kovalik

Thankfully Chen Ti stopped his reprise of Dan Cox's victorious route last week in the final set today ( win R1 in straight sets, lose first set to Luke in R2, lose second set to Liam in QF, win SF and final in straight sets ).
