Hopefully Oli will still have some appetite for the next round after his 3 bagels and mashed Swede.....
As you'll have gathered on Twitter, I liked that one! I didn't know you were on Twitter yourself until I saw you had RTd it though - if I'd known, I'd have asked if you'd prefer to tweet it yourself and get it RTd rather than me tweeting it and crediting you.

Liam and Ashley's scores have frozen. All I can add to Steven's post above is the asterix for Ashley who is at *1-3, all assuming the scoreboard is correct.
Liam is an early break up in the decider. I think Ashley was a break up in the 3rd too but has just been broken back (this just from half-listening to the sound on the video, not having time to actually watch it LOL)

Interesting to see him play (thanks to e-tennis and Bright Spark!). Nice clean groundshots and a good game from the back of the court. And some of the worst volleys I've ever seen. AND, bless him, he kept charging the net. Until half way through the third when he had a light bulb moment and stayed back and suddenly it all got a lot easier.
Another decent day in Qatar then, 3/5 through, 2 recovering from a set down (though all 5 matches went with rankings)
L16: James Marsalek WR 612 lost to Antoine Benneteau (FRA) WR 497 (CH 370 last Apr) by 2 & 2 L16: (4) Oli Golding WR 352 beat Jacob Adaktusson (SWE) WR 685 (33yo, CH 214 in 2006) by 0 & 0 L16: (7) Ashley Hewitt WR 412 beat (Q) Lorenzo Frigerio (ITA) WR 1006 (CH 796 last Apr) by 2-6 7-6(3) 6-3 L16: Liam Broady WR 468 beat Jaime Pulgar-García (ESP) WR 580 (CH 572 in Feb) by 3-6 6-4 6-0 L16: Luke Bambridge WR 611 lost to (2) Chen Ti (TPE) WR 287 (CH 200 last May) by 3-6 6-4 6-2
QF: (4) Oli Golding WR 352 v (7) Ashley Hewitt WR 412 QF: Liam Broady WR 468 v (2) Chen Ti (TPE) WR 287 (CH 200 last May)
Oli and Ashley are the only seeds left in the top half of the draw. Their ITF H2H is 1-1 - Ashley won 4 & 4 in St Cugat in 2009, Oli in 3 sets in Westende in 2012.
