Oli just won a game but I think the umpire just said Mmoh leads 4 or 5 games to 2 or 3 in the final set. Almost impossible to work out though, so hopefully that's wrong.

I often read this forum and find it a very good source of information but regarding JWH you're all wrong. JWH started out at the Nottingham Tennis Center under the tutelage of Mrs Alfred, Leighton's wife. JWH regularly competed for Nottingham at 10u & 12u, after finishing primary school JWH joined the Academy at Nottingham.
Oli wins 3-6 6-0 6-3 (I think) - very high standard play for a R1 Futures!
yes. The American is only 16 I think. Well done Oli all the same. Hopefully good news to come re Ash. Luke on serve. And I guess Liam might be next on the e-tennis court?

Hi. Good to 'meet' you. However, my point was not about when JWH started tennis or if he did part tennis, part something else. My point was that you can't say a person should do a PhD when they're 18, just because they've spent 15 years in school. JWH will, in my opinion, be a top 100 player. The fact that he isn't now (or anywhere close) has nothing to do with it. He is very young (by peak tennis norms). And he has certain characteristics which mean that he is likely to mature a little later than some other players.

Yes, warming up against Klec as I write ...

Well let's hope that's the case and JWH goes on to climb the rankings.
