Bossel seems to be the player who likes giving Liam a taste of his own (coming from a set down) medicine - having beaten him from a set down last year, he is now a break up in the 3rd here too 6-4 3-6 1-2* - still time for Liam to turn it around though.

Think he even had two - and could see him running around, bouncing up and down, in the top left corner of the court. But to no avail . . . It's going to be hard now . . .
Argh that's pretty gutting considering he had match point(s), but all in all a very encouraging week. Let's hope Liam can keep this level up now and really get his 2014 moving.
Liam, sure you've seen it all before and are quite happy ignoring them, but just to add:
best matches I've ever seen you play (i.e. mainly yesterday and the day before coz this one wasn't streamed but I'm taking this one as a given, having seen the others and the score today).
you've had a couple of really close ones you won. Now a really close one you lost. Doesn't help much but c'est la vie, and all that . . .
really good week, really consistent standard, best tournament of the year by far, keep going :::)))
Liam: "Just went down 7-6 in the third to Bossel. Tough loss and hard to swallow as he played two lights out points on my match points... Good to see some people know how to offer their condolences when you leave it all on the court but just arent playing well enough on the day"
The rubbish that prompted the second part of that double-tweet is best ignored.
