Women's rankings and doubles ranking are quite hard to follow via the WTA site
The pdf version of the rankings at http://www.wtatennis.com/SEWTATour-Archive/Rankings_Stats/Doubles_Numeric.pdf isn't too bad if you're trying to just look a week ahead, though I'm never completely confident of any calculations unless I've got details of all the scores in front of me. Of course, when looking at points due to go on with a week's delay, you need to check the previous year's activity for points due off the following week too.
Anyway, both will get 50 points if they win the Final, 30 points if they lose. Neither of them got any counters at this time last year (Joss wasn't even playing) so that makes the calculations simpler.
Anna started this week at WR 167 with 400 points, with 24 points as her 11th best score, so will have 406 points if they lose (currently good enough for WR 165) and 426 points if they win, good enough for WR 158 in this week's list.
Joss started this week at WR 201 with 334 points, with 12 points as her 11th best score, so will have 352 points if they lose (currently good enough for WR 191) and 372 points if they win (currently good enough for WR 181)

I might need to do a bit more digging on the rules and see if i can built a template based on the data i can find in the WTA website, so it's somewhat more obvious.
Ive got to say, Sam plays some of tge nicest passing shots I've seen. Now if someone could teach her to volley. She must have missed at least half a dozen easy put aways today

If I remember correctly, WTA doubles points totals simply consist of the best 11 results with none of the messing around over mandatories that you get in singles. Points per tournament are simple enough except when a player has to withdraw, when (depending on circumstances) they can get the points for the round reached, the points for the previous round or halfway between and the withdrawing player may get fewer points than their partner.

So in essence, good news all around. Ms Murray and Ms Broady both within the 250, Ms Murray looking as if she's recovering old form, and Ms Smith and Ms Rae going from strength to strength.
Yes, WTA doubles points are simply the best 11 with no mandatories. I'll pass on the withdrawal situations :)
Rankingwise, becoming a law of dimishing returns at 25K level, particularly for Anna ( though moving that way for Joss too, as their counting scores more and more converge ). All her 11 points scores are in the range of 24 to 50 points. Even eleven 50s would "only" take her up to 550 points.
Still good stuff, and I imagine they will try to step up in level as they feel appropriate.
FINAL: (3) Jocelyn Rae & Anna Smith WR 372 beat Magda Linette & Amra Sadikovic (POL/SUI) WR 630 by 3-6 7-5 10:4
Their 7th title together - and their 4th at 25K level since the start of December! They should be ranked around 158 (Anna) & 181 (Joss) on Monday week - see a few posts back for what this is based on

sam playing well but sometimes its a case of: nice nice nice nice nice - miss relativeley easy put away
and thats cost her the first set in a tie break not finishing off the points she shapes so well til the final shot
