Sam up an early break *3-2, Naomi on serve early on (0/2 on bps, hasn't faced any yet) 3-2*

 Some cracking pictures there - some not particularly flattering either.

Anna Smith's face is a picture.

Nice to put faces to a few of the girls i've not seen like Abigail Amos, Eden Silva, EWS(no suprise she has some tan), Nicola George etc.

The match due on after Sam's has only just started, which suggests to me that Sam's match did go the distance and it was the scoring gizmo that broke down rather than one of the players - hope so, anyway!

Good news, via Bath MCTA:

L16: (Q) Samantha Murray WR 233 beat (Q) Misa Eguchi (JPN) WR 221 (CH 213 in 2012) by 3 & 5

She makes the QFs here for the 2nd year in a row (though it was held two weeks later in the month last year) - she lost to Tara in the QFs last year and will get Naomi or Mertens this time.
