First time I've seen Rich play - the stream was very patchy, but very reliant on the first serve and a reasonable forehand, but far too many errors.
Raja is a typical doubles player. Took the serve very early and came to the net at every opportunity. He didn't make too many mistakes in the final set.
If that is the normal Mr. Gabb, 350 ranking is about the best he will get for now.
@JohnnyParkes1 on Twitter tells me that Richard and Purav went to the same secondary school in the UK! (though Purav must have been close to leaving when Richard started!)

Thought it was going to be lambs to the slaughter after the first set, but the boys seem to have acquitted themselves rather well:
R1: Richard Gabb & Nicolas Meister (USA) CR 707 (317+390) defeated (1) Purav Raja & Divij Sharan (IND/IND) CR 136 (73+63) by 2-6 7-5 [14-12]
The boys consistently trailed by one or two points in the MTB & were unable to convert their first match point at 9-8, but simply refused to lie down! Wonder how much of an incentive Richard's defeat at Raja's hands in the FQR of the singles was...

QF: Richard Gabb & Nicolas Meister (USA) CR 707 (317+390) vs Kevin King & Austin Krajicek ( ) (USA/USA) CR 267 (184+83)
So that's five all or part GB doubles pairings winning at least one match at Challenger level this week. Not bad. Very nice win for Mr Gabb in particular.
Krajicek is one of the few people the Bryans mentioned when they were asked about "next-generation" doubles players (along with Neal and Ken Skupski!).
