That quickly went from mind-boggling rants to claims of one of your players belonging in the DC squad, to claims of genius and being the 'very best, like no one ever was'. It was hard to take seriously before, but now I'm convinced that it was all one big joke!
Has someone been on the 'pharmaceuticals' this evening?
(sorry, couldn't resist)
Your very clever Steven - its omcor pharmaceutical grade fish oil caps excellent for both the heart & the brain - i bd ( one twice a day )
I guess it is a case of seeing what others can't - the key is that I do see things differently spent my business career identifying talent and so I got rather good at it !
I am lucky enough to work with 3 genius's at A1 discovered & mentor all 3 so there are 4 of us now in the company in addition to the most talented tennis pro doubles pair in GB ( not the best that's in the future )
It's all very well having an ongoing big joke, but I might be a little concerned as to what others in the tennis community ( and who knows who might quietly read at times ) make of it all or some of it in isolation.
And if at least some of it is not a big joke or at least very tongue in cheek, then....??!!
Mr. Lewis, what you do and say with respect to yourself is your own call. But I really think that you do neither Mr Willis nor Mr Burton any favours with your comments about them, especially if what you say in other places echoes what you say here (leaving aside the fact, as Indie points out, that there are a lot more people who read this forum than those of us who post on it). If the talent that you believe to be there is, and the genius of your management abilities is real, then the results will speak for themselves. In the meantime, casting aspersions on other well-known and well-respected players who have already accomplished a great deal, making statements of your players' worth that are - for the time being - exaggerated, etc can't help the people you are putting forward. I'm sure Mr Willis, Mr Burton, and others involved with British tennis appreciate the support you are giving the two of them. Please don't undermine it.
The results will speak for themselves not interested in being no1 in popularity stakes because winning more important But please keep firing me up on this forum .
One thing i want to clarify is I am a big colin Fleming , Dominic Inglot , Jon Marray & ken skupski fan all all great inspirations and I very much admire their achievements .

All in the interest of good banter
Sorry if I misread your previous post - if by saying that 6 out of the top 8 earners in GB tennis are doubles you meant that, business-wise, doubles is a better thing to bet on, then I probably agree. I think that doubles is overpaid and the financial balance between top-100 doubles and top-1000 singles is wrong.
But obviously I don't blame the players in the slightest for taking advantage. I particularly respect players such as Benneteau, Llodra and Eduoard Roger-Vasselin who have managed to use their doubles to help finance very successful (top-50) singles careers and who then alos have their doubles to fall back on when they decide they're a 'bit old' for singles (Llodra).
If you predict the two will make the top-50 in doubles, that's fine. They are both 3 or 4 years off their prime, age counts less against you in doubles so you could even make it more (have never seen a stat for average age for CH in doubles). So your target is fine. Nothing to doubt. It's simply not something to shout from the rooftops. The public certainly won't care. And the tennis pundits will not care greatly either. We have no lack of good doubles players. Another pair is fine, but no more than that.
Marcus has made great progress, and teaming up with Lewis, an already multiple futures doubles winner and previously top 300 doubles player in Lewis has been very good for him.
He has made real progress in singles and doubles, though it is a bit exagerrated by these starting rankings, which were very clearly far too low for a guy of his ability. And he still has a long way to go to match some of the evident expectations being held out for him.
Great though that he has turned things round with A1's big help and indeed progressed significantly higher in the rankings than ever before.
His progress has been very good and largely speaks for itself, but the continual overspin is tiresome.
Maybe the spin is being under-done. I remember a time when Marcus was unranked!
The achievement was described by the premier indoors tournament director as nothing short of miraculous our target end of 2013 at launch was 750 world singles & 500 doubles .
I can only say that we are ahead of shedule but with all the commitment and significant funding I was expecting advice , how did you do it , but instead have faced hostility , criticism and zero support from the LTA .
Whats new the English always hate a winner until he or she cry's in public or consistently lift bronze medals

Richie Joyner always give you a nice plug on his videos, so not all bad ;)
Personally Gary I feel that what you have done for Marcus cannot be overstated, keep up the great work. He has always had a huge amount of untapped potential, but since you have backed him, alot of that potential has been fulfilled with much more to come I'm sure.

Little surprise if you behave in real life like you do on here.
