Not sure what went wrong with Ashley - a few lower-ranked Brits than him have beaten Gille this year. Maybe the Belgian dealt with the heat better. Anyway, 4 out of 6 Brits made it through to R2:

Liam: "3 rain delays at 7:35pm and counting... #StopStart"

Dan took the 2nd set 6-2 against Luke and they were *2-2 in the 3rd when the rain came again but Luke has 3 break points

Liam is a set down but 4-4* in the 2nd and had a break point when play was stopped

JWH's match has disappeared
