Some very wild swings in that match, very happy it turned out the right way
That's Emily's 3rd 10K singles title and 1st since 2009 (she played 25Ks and above for much of the intervening period) and will take her from GB no. 10 to GB no. 8 on Monday week, probably back inside the top 400

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
While Emily going from GB no 10 to 8 ( and she would at least have gone to no 9 whatever this week ) is very largely because of the injured Lisa and Amanda steadily dropping back, it is still of course very good to see Emily bagging a title again.
It does look rather as if once she was quite behind in the second set she maybe just let it go. But the important thing is she was focussed for that final set. I hope this gives her some renewed confidence moving forward.
Em is playing Edgbaston 25K and then Dakar 15k, so plenty more points to be had. Dakar by the way only has 24 entries, so if anyone fancies following Em and signing in, they will get in the main draw.
