I suspect we will have another Broady v Diatchenko final

Em is 4-1 down final set

scoreboard must be wrong
diatchenko is serving again, but score still shows 2-5*

emily must have held - she defo saved at least one MP

if she held its 3-5*

Em had a small chance with a break point at 1-1* in the second set, but after she wasn't able to take that opportunity Vitalia seemed to take control of the match. Really good effort though, the Russian had to work hard to close that out.

3 MP saved but not a fourth (em also had a BP to get it to *4-5 but it went by)
7-5 2-6 3-6

Diatchenko had 19 double faults (no aces) and still won. That should not be allowed

Sadly Emily struggles to compete with top. 500 players and sadly again I think she is probably overranked these days.

Didn't Diatchenko beat Naomi last week though, and was a solid top 125 player before her break ?

Yep Vitalia is on the come back trail, so no real disgrace in this defeat for Em (though Vitalia's DF count suggests she wasn't at her best).

5 games in a row for Naomi since going that early break down - she takes the 1st set 6-2
