I think Dan's backhand slice has improved quite a bit and he's doing the damage with his forehand once again. His forehand is immense at times!

I was curious when watching a few games of the match against Mr Gabb: the slice backhand was very nice (often really beautiful), but there was a lot of it. Is it normally such a huge part of his game?

Down 0-2. But that doesn't actually do justice to his play. The serve doesn't seem to be firing well, and his movement seems a little constrained. But some beautiful shots, and both games have gone to deuce.
