With the high points for a Challenger win, Mr Smethurst should wind up somewhere between 210 and 220, and Mr Corrie should break 250 (usual caveats applying). If Mr Smethurst didn't win another point before Wimbledon, he would (if present equivalencies of points and rankings held) be somewhere in the 230s ... and Mr Corrie, positing the same, would be at 250.
Just saw your post, spud. I'm a novice at this, so you may well be correct, but I think there are no rankings this week, because of Miami, and that they'll both drop points on 31 March at the same time as they add the points for these wins.

They still have their Canada F2 points to go on as well?
On the 31st (as you rightly said because of Miami)...
Dan will add on 107 points (27+80) and drop 24 points so +83
Ed will also add on 107 points without dropping any I don't think?

Ah, indeed! I said I was a novice. Thank you - I'd forgotten that the F2s weren't on yet. How lovely to know that things are even better than I'd thought. -- Edited by Spectator on Saturday 22nd of March 2014 08:40:06 PM

I would expect Dan and Ed to be GB's 9th and 10th ranked doubles players on 31st March, still a long way behind the current top 8 ( Inglot, Jamie Murray, Fleming, Marray, Ken Skupski, Neal Skupski, Andy Murray and Delgado ).
Adding in Ross Hutchins, I think there is a good argument that they really are now genuinely nos 10 & 11, ahead of Rice, Thornley, Willis and Burton, who would round out the GB top 15.
I assume that Ed played a lot of good level doubles at college.

It turns out that they are now GB nos 9 and 11 (Brydan is still just above Ed) but they have, not surprisingly, soared to new doubles career highs today:
Dan jumps 52 places to 198, breaking into the top 200 just a fortnight after he became a top 250 player for the first time
Ed jumps 79 places to 218, taking out his October 2012 career high at last and becoming a top 250 player for the first time
