Hopefully Kyle is not too discouraged before Miami and can put on a decent show there and have a good experience.
And while, as I said, I quite understand accepting these WCs, hopefully in the next couple of months or so before the grass season he can have a settled spell of tournament play.

Yes, not the result any of us probably expected, especially after winning the opening set. I'd far prefer him to have had 1 or 2 WCs max this early in the year, but got more Challengers and $15ks in. Let's be honest, he's ready to sample ATP level, but not to compete at this point in time. But his team have done well so far, so I'm sure they know what they are doing.
Hope he hasn't picked up a niggle during the match yesterday.
It is an odd situation to be in, where we contemplate complaining about a MDWC to a Masters event. Yet I do understand many people's complaints about the large amount that he has received. The balance between tasting ATP and Challengers/$15ks needs to be one that allows consistency and maximum point gain. Personally, I don't know where that balance is; all I know is that, admittedly, I am excited to see the Miami draw.
