And Ed gets it 6-4.

Well done to both :::)))

Ed completes a remarkable turnaround from a set and 5-6* down, winning a 262-point almost 3-hour battle!

SF: (7) Ed Corrie WR 329 beat (6) Dan Smethurst WR 305 by 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4

Ed has really stepped things up this week. Hope Dan can find some energy for Rimouski next week if he did hit the wall in that 2nd set.

Well,, at least Dan can have a rest tomorrow.

It may well be Ed who's completely spent for next week :)

Well, he might feel a bit glum at the moment (!) but I wouldn't call it gutting - he had a brilliant week last week and just didn't quite, by a whisker, manage to do as well this week.

Hardly a global crisis smile Vamos Dan - it always looks better when you've slept on it.

FINAL: (7) Ed Corrie WR 329 v Dimitar Kutrovsky (BUL) WR 451 (CH 312 in 2012)

A chance to avenge last week's 5 & 2 defeat in the semi-finals.

Ed lost the 1st set 6-3, at which point livescores gave up, but Dan comes to the rescue:
