It cant be that common for there to be over 100 places between 7th and 8th seeds in a tourney.

ITF says 7-6 (3) for final tie-break in the Manlow match. Very nice work by Mr Manlow against a seeded player ... albeit a pity he didn't make it through.

His result makes quite a contrast to those of two fellow qualifiers, who were handed double bagels (by Rochus and Wietoska).

Great chance for Ed to make semis as Jesse Levine the 2nd seed went out to Wolarmans but was playing injured.

Ed breaks back, but seems to be struggling to hold serve this week.

His quarter of the draw looks very inviting.

Never in doubt as Ed completes what looks like a very solid win 6-3 6-1

Nice 3pts - Looking like he will have defended the majority of those points he picked up in the UK 10k's from last year.

With little to defend after March, there is a good chance he will climb back up to rankings and get a new CH.

Gabb goes down 6-4 6-1. Slight bit if good news is that all the seeds in Dan and Eds half are out so a good chance for another final for them as they are due to meet in the semis.
