As far as I know, Evo is still down to play in the main draw here.
QR1: James Marsalek WR 608 v (wc) Ugo Nastasi (LUX) WR 966 (CH 964 earlier this month)
QR2: (q8) Dave Rice WR 285 v Rudy Coco (FRA) WR 582 (CH 382 in 2011) or (wc) Ronan Joncour (FRA) UNR (junior 325) QR2: Marsalek or Nastasi v (q5) Florent Serra (FRA) WR 247 (CH 36 in 2006)
Dave (edit:) surprisingly got thrashed by Coco in QR1 in Quimper two weeks ago, so this might be a chance for revenge. The other seed in his section is top seed Taro Daniel (JPN) WR 191.

Yes, stupid me - I must have been looking at Coco's record not Dave's (though the opponent = RICE, not to mention the bad memory from two weekends ago!) should have been a dead giveaway.

I hope Dan E. can pick up some points here. Poitns wise, he has had only one good tournament since the USO and that was 5 months ago.
Has anyone noticed Bradley Klahn's progress since the USO? He went into that tournament ranked 124 and he has since climbed to 66 and this success is almost totally down to his performance in challengers.
I hope there will be som egood streams from Cherbourg....
Incidentally does anyone know why Sean Thornley has stopped playing singles? I can understand why he would prioritise doubles but I can't see why he isn't still playing singles when the chance arises.
