He was points away from beating an in-form Vaisse ranked in 300's in Israel, yet has struggled to qualify and beat players ranked in the 1000's on all other occasions this year... strange.
Marcus has a very kind draw, with all the bigger names in the top half of the draw - Klec, Lammer, Musialek, Udomchoke. No reason not to get to the final and play to his seeding.
L32: Lewis Burton WR 791 v (Q) Andre Dome (USA) WR 1441 (CH 1025 in 2011)
L32: (2) Marcus Willis WR 388 beat Nam Ji Sung (KOR) WR 527 (CH 372 in Jun) by 6-4 7-6(2)
L16: (2) Marcus Willis WR 388 v Kento Takeuchi (JPN) WR 568 (CH 425 a year ago)
Takeuchi has lost to both Brydan and Cameron in Challenger qualifying in the last couple of months.
(rankings updated for Lewis's match too - big jumps today for both R1 opponents, in fact)

Let's hope Marcus & Lewis can build on last weeks success in singles & doubles .
It would be nice if both can reach at least the SF in the singles and lift the doubles title
Going to be hard for Lewis to make it past round 2 with a potential rematch with Udomchoke, however Marcus should definitely be pushing semi final at least.
As for the doubles, its there for the taking if they play well
Marcus desn't have that many points to defend once the Shrewbury 10pts comes off - 18pts until start of July(inc Shrewsbury) so real chance to start climbing up the rankings again.

But Udomchoke didnt' play his final a couple of days ago - the French player won by walkover.
You have to be pretty injured/ill not to even give a final a go. And a home final at that. So, without wishing the guy ill, Lewis may well have a good chance if he wins his first round.
