Tara a break down second set 2*-1, but as we have had 7 breaks already i wouldn't read too much into that yet.

QF: (5) Tara Moore WR 210 lost to (4) Renata Vorácová CZE WR 196 (CH 74 in 2010) by 3-6 6-3 6-3

Well that's a pity It also means Tara is likely to drop behind Naomi and Sam on Monday week because she won Surprise 25K this time last year.

This is a pretty remarkable run they're on; their seventh consecutive final, having won 5 of those previous six.
Also, nice revenge for Joss over Marcinkevica from Fed Cup.

Naomi also wraps up a routine victory: 7-5 6-4

So, a lacklustre week in singles for GBR, but at least we'll have good interest in the doubles final.

Pity re Tara. Her matches this week certainly seem to have been generally breakfests. Pity she hasn't got a naturally stronger service game, but one could say that about many women.

I think the reality it that it is doubtful is Tara, Sam or Naomi will ever progress further than the top 150. Looks like we will have to wait on Katy, Katie and Eleanor for our next big chance.

Doubles final is under way. Voracova had a very long, hard defeat in the singles earlier, so that may be a factor.
Currently, Joss & Anna have a two breaks to one advantage: *3-2
