Steven, just seen your message - my bad ! In fact, I blame you (obviously!!) - your page is too good :) I saw yesterday that Izzy was marked with two scorers and didn't realise you'd already added on the Nottingham one - yes, it does say so, but I didn't read it properly :(
So apologies again . . .
Decent scores from Manisha and Freya. Obviously a real corker from Emily. Tara scraped by. Didn't really expect jade to win as she's been barely playing these last few weeks and not serving at all, with the stomach muscle thing. Had hoped Naomi might do better. and Katy too possibly. All in all, not brilliant . ..
LOL you're forgiven (and paulisi, obviously) - I just always assume I've got something wrong, and on a day when the screen's been swimming in front of my eyes a bit, even more so. Actually, I wouldn't usually have updated the best 16 table this early in the week since I usually wait until we know exactly who is (and isn't) going to get at least one point, but this week we knew as soon as the Nottingham 25K main draw came out.
This might be the real reason Jade wasn't able to play today:
"A car ploughed into the back of mine yesterday and wrote it off.. some enjoyable whiplash to go with it #can'tlookup #fun "

Katy only won half as many games as the last time she played the Latvian, unfortunately, Marcinkevica winning the last 7 games to win 4 & 0
Mrs Marcinkevica ( and yes she is married at only 22 ! ) was very impressive at the Fed Cup and should have beaten JoKo, so forget that ranking on her day she is so much better than that, I'm assuming she played her best tennis today as Katy has played to a very high consistent level recently.
Emily needs one more win to get a ranking now along with 5 other girls. I would hope the LTA would give some of them a MD WC for Preston.
You're the second person today who has got me worried that my best 16 stats are wrong LOL
I'm not well today so apologies if I have missed something really obvious (not that I don't miss obvious things when I'm healthy too! ) but I think she needs 2 - no points before today and even if you meant another win here, 25K QFs are only worth 9 points these days unless the player concerned is a qualifier and has got an extra point for that.
I agree that 5 other girls need one more counting score - Jasmine Asghar, Georgia Craven, Jazzamay Drew, Izzy Wallace (who got her 2nd score from her WC here) and Tiffany William.

Not to question the Oracle, but what about Maia Lumsden? I think she has one from Edinburgh last April and one from Glasgow this year.

Third time lucky Or in other words, she really has gone missing from the table! She's on the end of 2013 table and I remember adding in her 2nd point and noticing that both points came from 10Ks in central Scotland but I must have inadvertently deleted her at some stage.
Thanks for pointing it out. It could have been embarrassing if it hadn't been noticed before she gets her next point! The most important thing is that everything ends up as accurate as possible so don't worry, I do actually appreciate these things being pointed out - it's just that I was feeling a bit groggy (and hence easily confused) today and kept looking at the other two things people brought up earlier thinking I'm sure this is right so what have I missed!

Yes, Maia has a point from each of Edinburgh and Glasgow ( both MD WC and won R1 ).
I see that she does show up for the Edinburgh point when in the stats you select the ranking points breakdowns for last year, but she now doesn't appear in the current breakdowns at all.
