Just not to be! cry  They were holding four match points at one stage & threw away a fifth! hmm

Final:  (2) Julien Benneteau & Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA/FRA) CR 48 (29+19) defeated Paul Hanley (AUS) & Jonny Marray CR 128 (82+46) by 4-6 7-6(6) [13-11]

Really disappointing. Thought that was to be our first ATP title of the year.
He really needs to get that next title. What chance Marray and Nielsen ever teaming up again?

I would be amazed if they didn't play together again at some point and maybe in a couple of years if Freddie decides to concentrate solely on doubles and Jonny is still playing at this level they might end up as a full time partnership.

Well with a singles ranking of 621 shouldn't be too long.
Only played oene tournament this year, Chennai which he failed to qualify for.
It's really very odd when much bigger fish could be gained in the doubles.

He is playing the futures event in Shrewsbury this week. I am guessing he won't have difficulty finding a doubles partner.
