QR2: (q2) Samantha Murray WR 240 beat Natalie Pluskota (USA) WR 637 (CH 478 last Jul) by 6-4 4-6 6-0

FQR: (q2) Samantha Murray WR 240 v Alexandra Mueller (USA) WR 423 (CH 280 in 2009)

They have met once before, in QR2 at the same event in 2012, when Sam won 3-6 6-3 6-4 & went on to qualify.

L32: Heather Watson WR 161 v Eleni Daniilidou (GRE) WR 261 (CH 14 in 2003)

H2H 2-1 - Eleni won in 3 sets in Copenhagen in 2010 but Hev has won the last two, both in straight sets in the US, in 2011 and 2012

Is anyone else having trouble with the stream? It's spending ages "initializing" for me and then saying it can't play it. Not managed to see a single point yet! Not sure if it's issues at my end or not?

Sorry Sally, think it might be your end - mine seems to be fine (it's a little fuzzy but running at proper speed).

Mind you, Sam's just lost the TB so that's not great . . .

Yeah it's not working properly for me. Think it's down to your connection speed.

Sam broke when Mueller served for the first set at 4-5*, but lost the resulting tiebreak 7-3

Sam was 4-2 up but got broken back, serving 2 DFs. Now 4-4. Muller hits a nice ball but takes a long tine to get going when she moves, and then gets cross - Sam had her rattled . . .

Sam will be cross she didn't get a third set out of that match - looked a little flat-footed but I guess that is lack of match sharpness and not surprising.

Yeah I think thats a decent enough return to competition but a shame ahe couldn't complete the comeback. Double at 6-6 killed the momentum she'd built
