RE: Week 7 - ATP 250 - Memphis (Hard)

I notice Phau has a SE here, I presume Dan entering Quimper prevented him from doing the same.

Salisbury and Ireland's David O'Hare have a wild card in the doubles, and have draw the Bryans in the first round!

R1:  (1)  Bob Bryan & Mike Bryan WR1 vs (WC) David O'Hare & Joe Salisbury UNR

David has no doubles ranking, Joe one of 1149.  Inevitably a chastening experience for the boys! cry

David and James Cluskey took Mirnyi and partner to five sets in Davis Cup recently so he has recent experience of playing a top player at least.

Connor finding it pretty hard against Bobby Reynolds, which is hardly surprising, currently 6-0 4-2 to the American.

Shame about Connor, had 4 BP's early on in the second set and looked like he was starting to serve much better

Salisbury and O'Hare lose 6-4 6-3 to the Bryan's. An entertaining match in which the college players put in a very respectable display, only broken twice in the match and saving break points with good rather than lucky play.

Looks like the boys put up a very decent show. What a great experience for them.

Booty & Klaasen are clearly becoming a doubles force to be reckoned with!  They've just beaten the Bryans by 4 & 4 to win the Memphis title! disbelief
