Great weekend to have a big 4-round qualifying draw - 2 days gone, about half of QR1 played, 3 and a half rounds to go - oh, and the weather forecast is rain for every day until Friday

That plan didn't go too well - they are going to try the same thing again tomorrow. Oli is due to play R1 as well.

Yikes. Chances of this finishing must be slim

Brechemier's last ITF event saw him win 6 matches in straight sets to win a junior title. IT was only a Grade 4 though, so this result is still a bit of a surprise.

It's Thursday morning and today's OOP aims to complete qualies and has an aspiration to then complete L32 matches. Another whole day lost. At what point does a tournament get abandoned...?

I think we are getting close to that point. After all there is another tournament just down the road where qualifying should start on Saturday.

If it is abandoned, I vote that Oli gets the 18 points, as he won last week!

Well, the Order of Play says it starts at 3 p.m. so I guess they're not late . . ..

Are they having a laugh ???? Do the Portuguese have no alarm clocks ???

NB In fact, I'm sure when I looked this morning it said 13.30.  It now also says that the doubles tournament is cancelled. So I guess they thought, OK, no doubles, we can push it all back, why not . . .
