Great stuff from Kyle.

Hopefully this will be one of his last futures tournaments.

Nice win a big rankings jump and a reasonable chance to pick up points in Marseilles.

Madeline - the answer to the mystery is that I keep track of any numbers that may be relevant so that I don't have to look them up every time - which is what I used to do for far too long.

Thanks for all the updates during the match - I'm glad he managed to win before you had to finally leave

Greg Rusedski has tweeted a pic of Kyle with the trophy, which isn't bad for a Futures!

This is also Kyle's first Futures title off clay, of course.

excellent win from Kyle , and encouraging to see him win off the clay, it's important to have a good all-court game these days

Fantastic!

2nd 15k title, and now 14-2 for the year.

Delighted for him. We know he's good, but it's great to see him prove it so often and so consistently for someone so young. Whenever he has a bad day our collective reaction is invariably to think of illness, injury or fatigue.....which mostly turns out to be the case. A gem in the making. Top 25 perhaps, and beyond that is anyone's guess at this early stage.

Brilliant!

Seems such a nice lad too when he's interviewed. Can't help but be really happy for him.

Great stuff.

I already did tend to think Kyle had a very good all court game. It was my understanding that it was rather more about such as learning to compete at seniors in a tough rallying environment that had him focussed on clay so much last year than that he was some sort of clay expert.

Well Done Kyle. Things are slowly coming together with him. Can he make top 200 by Wimbledon?
