Actually, following on from my post above, I'm not sure that the records are terribly helpful in distinguishing options - could go either way, though Hutchins and Fleming have won tournaments, which Marray and Fleming never quite did. But the team aspect remains a vital one.
And on a happier note, well started, Mr Ward! (Broke Fognini and held to go up 3-0) Keep it up.
Wawrinka now down two sets to Golubev ... Benneteau 6-7, 1-4 to Kamke ... Ward up 5-2 in the second . Trend? (Just so long as it's a trend that doesn't continue in the second match of the day ...)

Very unlikely. Golubev troubling Wawrinka (who has been fairly ordinary since Melbourne) is not much of a surprise but Kukushkin upsetting either of the Swiss men would be a huge shock, not to mention the doubles.
