On the BBC tennis homepage, it's says that they are only covering Friday and Saturday. Does anyone know whether this is correct or not? Are they expecting us to have won/lost in three?

I've had a quick look on the guide, and its seems like its Beeb2 on Friday and Beeb1 on Saturday/Sunday.

Thanks Phil, I checked too, and it seems you're right, and the Beeb website is wrong

Thanks steven great article. I personally hope that Wardy gets the 2nd spot. He has been the stalwart, and rises well to the big occasions. I'm going to be glued whatever happens

I think it will be James. But if Leon comes round to the view that Evo offers the better option, Evo it will be.

Dan Evans returns to Great Britain's Davis Cup team for next week's quarter-final against Italy.

Evans, 23, was left out of January's tie against the United States, but returns after rising to a career-best world ranking of 123 last month.

Captain Leon Smith will decide whether Evans or James Ward should fill the second singles role behind Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.

Great Britain have also named Colin Fleming as Andy Murray's doubles partner for the Davis Cup quarter-final.

But Ross Hutchins will also travel to Italy and could be brought into the team as late as next Thursday.

Nice to see Evo & Ross back . It's got the makings of a great weekend lets hope the locals don't decide to spoil the party .

My gut feeling is go with Evo and Andy in the doubles with colin . Love to have gone but its our inaugral aegon national tier match so if anyone's not going to Naples then why not watch Marcus Lewis /Lewis burton in action for A1 vSurrey who have Jeremy bates and Chris eaton At westcombe park rugby club in Orpington

Not a good start to the trip. Taxi driver ripped me off to the tune of 150 euros by threatening to drive off with my luggage if I didn't pay. Can only get better from here.

Why Dan belives he's the man to take the N° 2 berth...  I suppose his comments are at least a sign of his commitment to the cause.

I'm very surprised, not about James, but that Ross is in there.

I still don't expect Ross to play, and I thought another singles player as backup would be the way to go. It does suggest to me that James was a very clear choice with effectively this commitment to him, however his first singles goes.
