Still in a slight state of shock after finding myself agreeing with John Lloyd.

He reckons Andy about 60/40 favourite to beat Fognini.

I agree, very scary, luckily he's provided enough things for me to disagree with over the last two days' commentary so it hasn't upset the balance too badly. Anyone else thoroughly confused as to why he was so against the Davis Cup format for most of the doubles today whilst simultaneously saying what a great event it was.

Yes

yes I spotted this bizarre contradiction. To be fair he used th FA Cup as a similar example, and he's right.

John was certainly more talented as a player than a davis cup captain - in his words for sure .

But I think hes honest and speaks from the heart .

Which by some would  be admired and respected .

Spent so much time jumping up and down cheering today, I think I stood up and sat down more times than Messrs Shearer and Savage did for sport relief.
Awesome day. Come on Andy.

Bob, where exactly are you sitting/jumping up & down?  Been trying to spot you in the crowd! wink

Ok. How to play spot the Bob. I am near the back in the section behind the cheerleaders from Stirling Uni. I am 4 rows from the very top of stands and 3 seats in from the left hand end as you look. The 2 ladies between me and the end (to my right) are wearing Union Jack cowboy hats.

I've just read the Beeb's report on their front tennis page, and I must say it makes me mad that there's no mention of Wardy, and hardly any of Colin. It's like they're depicting that he's a one man team instead of a four man - plus squad plus Leon.

I'm a huge Andy fan, and know he's the hingepin, but I think that the other players deserve to be acknowledged too.

We wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for Wardy, remember that.

When John lloyd( worst captain in GB Davis cup history ) post doubles match it was like colin cos your crap they were targeting you and poor colin was like no no they were targeting Andy as well .

Trouble about the old school they never Fully grasped the concept of team work Fortunately the boys from north of Scotland have !!

Yes, up the Scots - but then I'm biased as I'm Welsh

This is tense, I've still got confidence in Andy, but nailbiting times. Someone shut Lloydy up, he's just talking for the sake of it and BS at that.

John lloyd seems nice guy but"  for sure " certainly not  sharpest tool in the box . At times it's like Ricky Gervais needs to meet this guy make great comedy sketch  "for sure " .

But it's very entertaining ! I guess the BBC actually pay these guys right !? Lol

Individuals are never perfect but Leon's GB Davis cup team can get closer to perfection than any individual . Andy would be first to admit he wasn't out on the doubles court on his own !

I am fan of the North of Scotland team and go to lot of their matches they know all about team work in buckets & spades !
