Sorry but not keen on that Italian crowd.

Well, since the tie is being played in Italy, it was/is to be expected & there's bugger all you can do about it, so I suggest you live with it. wink  That said, the Team GB supporters are giving a good account of themselves, so should give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.

Seven break points squandered in that set. Italians riding their luck somewhat. Need to take this in 4 I reckon.

The Italians take the third set 6 - 3

Britain has two sets and the Italians one

Darn 2 sets to 1. What a lob by Fognini to stop the boys breaking back.

Of course, I have no option nor intention to do anything but live with it. I still, however, retain my right to rage. biggrin

I see the Kazakhs have gone 2-1 up in Switzerland. Golubev and Nedovyesov beat Federer and Wawrinka in four sets !

I still think Switzerland will win both reverse singles, but intrigueing.

Of course all that is only really relevant to us if we do the business here and I really do think this is a must win doubles for GB.

The away teams are in the lead in all four of the World Group QFs at the moment, with two of them (KAZ v SUI and heavily-depleted GER v FRA) very much seen as outsiders before the ties started. CZE are already through against JPN.

Are we allowed to mention, as a whisper, that yet again there was no need for a 'confirmed' doubles partnership? In fact, the US strategy didn't pay off and the 'get you best singles guy to play doubles' seemed very effective ?
