Baluda & Marx 11/20 Lewis /Willis 5/4 underdogs. Met Sean thornley last night while he was coaching local kid and I said you should give Marcus a few doubles tips and he said when retires would not mind becoming his doubles coach certainly heard of worse ideas .

It's a 9.30 start though, I believe ? (BST and all that) and it can't be so soon for the doubles ? Surely it's 2 hours from the END of the doubles? Nor before 1.30 or something like that? I'm not 100% sure just checking . .

Very pleased to see Andy playing doubles.

Certainly does indicate it was always the plan. In all the circumstances ( Andy being ill beforehand, completing his singles today and first on tomorrow ), Ross still not playing speaks volumes.

I reckon the final team would have had Dan in it rather than Ross, and then Andy got ill and they've gone oh heck..

The unanswered question ( and it will remain unanswered ) is was Ross brought here, more looking to the future ( with Andy going to play doubles ) or because he was genuinely considered the next doubles option at this time.

Anyway, going well, keep it up guys.
