Cheers Paulisi, always much appreciated. Bit confused by the last paragraph - has Ross just not turned up then, or what?

Liam doesn't seem to have any major weapons and seems reliant on grounding his opponents down and based on that performance I cannot see Liam getting any further than top 350.
I've seen this mentioned a few times and I find it quite strange. I saw a fair few of Liam's matches when he was in the juniors and he had a wicked lefty forehand. What happened?
Ross not scheduled to play until tomorrow. I though he may have wanted some practice time today.
Liam has a nice all round game, but nothing that I saw was stand out. He hit a few nice passes, hit a couple of aces, but that was about it. It's difficult to judge on one appearance and the courts were slow.
Bob - unfortunately, I'm needed in the office. Should be down for the final on sat. Otherwise next planned trip will be to Preston for the boys 10K/girls 25k unless I trek to Shrewbury.
It was a super report; thanks, Paulisi. Good to hear that there are so many "new" people playing at a high level - and very glad to hear that Mr Bloomfield was playing well again. Sorry, though, to hear about the rule bending/breaking from Mr Bambridge; he's always come across from what people say as a good sort. Hope it was a temporary aberration.
Good luck to all tomorrow - and where one GB player has to win over another, I hope that they both have the satisfaction of having played well.
One other thing to mention from the first set was that Bambo, was calling shots out and pointing, which is against the rules. Josh told Harry to complain to the umpire. Harry did, Josh got told that he wasn't allowed to coach and Harry kept up bringing the issue and asked for a supervisor at one stage.
Lots of young players do that. It is simply a force of habit from playing junior matches without an umpire, nothing to worry about in my opinion.
Oh, good. As I said, the player in question has always come across as a very good sort from all that's been said ... glad that's the case, and it's a non-issue.
Looks like there are more breaks than holds in Toby's match. He is going to need another one now though as Rosenzweig is serving again for the match at *6-5
