I know that there's a Jathan and Jamie Malik. But I've just seen a Cameron Malik playing the British Tour. (At Stirling uni, seemingly). Anyone know if he's a big brother ? (presumably not, or his name would be Jack or Jay or any other 'Ja' name . . .). or indeed any relation ?
I don't think that Cameron he is related to Jathan and Jamie. He certainly isn't their brother.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Bad day in qualifying with only one Brit beating a non-British opponent so only 3 Brits make it through.
Final Qualifying Round
Riccardo BONADIO (ITA) [1] 6-4 3-6 6-4 Jordan MCCULLOCH (GBR) Scott CLAYTON (GBR) [2] 6-1 6-0 Adam SKALSKY (GBR) Nicolas ROSENZWEIG (FRA) [3] 6-2 6-3 Peter ASHLEY (GBR) Giorgio PORTALURI (ITA) [4] 6-2 6-4 Marshall TUTU (GBR) Evan HOYT (GBR) [5] 6-4 6-4 Ryan PENISTON (GBR) [14] Robert GODLEWSKI (POL) 6-2 6-4 Nicholas JONES (GBR) [12] Piotr LOMACKI (POL) [7] 7-5 6-2 Tom ALLEN (GBR) [10] Adam THORNTON-BROWN (GBR) [8] 6-3 6-4 Karol DRZEWIECKI (POL) [13]
Seems I read the draw wrong - I was sure Tutu was playing Skalsky which I thought was interesting because they were sharing a room.
Not sure what happened to Adam there? Maybe he went back to the two-handed back-hand.
Forgot to mention what a nice guy Rosenweig is, and very knowledgeable about the game. Glad he beat Ashley this week. Hope Ashley can build on his immense potential and win the battle in his head too
Dave Rice already has 3 points as his 18th counter ( even has a 3 pointer in reserve ), the only GB male after Andy with more than 1 point as an 18th counter. So he will need to reach at least the SF before he adds any further ranking points
Outside the top players, with whom it gets a little more complicated with mandatory events etc plus for the elite the season ending World Tour Final, male players count their best 18 tournament ranking scores for ranking purposes ( for the girls it is 16 ).
In David Rice's cases his "18th counter", i.e. his 18th best score, is currently 3 points. Therefore he would need to reach the SF here ( earning 6 points ) before he scored enough to displace his current 18th best score and overall have 18 better counters.
