Wow she didnt look overly convincing in qualies but thats a cracking win..lack of match play clearly not knocking her nerves.

Eleanor is very much the real deal, we really need her to stay healthy because I definitely think she is top 150 potential.

At 4-4, Jazzamay faced several BPs, but managed to save them, to lead 5-4*. And then broke her opponent to 15 !!!

So victory for Jazzamay 6-4 6-4 :)

Eleanor plays Nicole Clerico in the next round, the 30 year-old WC with a CH of 381 about 4 years ago.

Great result for Jazzamay, that's two counters in three weeks.

I would hope that the LTA would reward more people who are pushing for a WTA ranking and are close by giving them wildcards into 25K. Jasmine, Georgia and Jazzamay are all on two scorers(Tiffany is at college), however i suspect they will not and the likes of Beth, Katy, Katie will take preference.

I sort of agree but it's difficult - Georgia is also at university (full-time, serious course) so not really focusing on tennis so much at the moment. And Jasmine is still a junior (and with two more years).

So maybe Beth and Katy are a better idea i.e. seniors who need a hand (and Katie B is obviously a junior too but has said that she's only staying in juniors for 5 more months, and only for the grand slams so she's 'almost' a senior).

Jazzamay seems maybe a more worthwhile case (if she wants to come back) because not only is she in form but her two counters are 'proper earned' points, not WC points (Beth has 4 points in total but two of those are from WCs).
