Impressive win, decent points - however this looks like running into Monday now as only 2 QF started.

And the forecast for tomorrow is thunder storms and heavy rain.

That's 16 wins in a row so far for Oli ( ignoring his "loss" by withdrawal before the Doha SF ).

And he has shown good attitude again, both within matches and having to wait around so much in the rain.

So, not before time Oli will be well within the top 400 ( he was just there already, Tara :) )

This guy will be going very much higher though.

Lost the first three games then won 12 of the next/last 13. Stormed it.

That might actually get the tournament done on time.

They are only using two courts tonight, not sure if that means they are indoors or outdoors under lights, but they plan to play all the singles QFs and then the remaining doubles QFs and then the doubles SFs.

That leaves Singles SFs and Final plus the doubles final for tomorrow.

Most of last season was probably a pretty chastening experience for Oli but it might well have done him a lot of good in the long term. Going by his tweets he certainly comes across as much more mature than he once did. The near constant moaning about every little inconvenience that life throws up has mostly disappeared.
