With a current ranking inside 150, a 2014 "potential" ranking inside 75 (I'm confident Evo himself would back this up), no matches played since he lost in QR2 at the AO, a week to ten days specific indoor hard court training in the comfort of a UK base, an LTA sponsored coach in tow and a QR1 victory behind him, surely we need to EXPECT victories from Dan against the likes of Karol Beck and Bjorn Phau to qualify this week. It's gone beyond "one for the future" hasn't it. I don't think we should make excuses or look for mitigation with matches like this - wins should be a minimum expectation.

Now come on Dan!
I completely agree. Whatever the exact truth of the Maui / DC situation it is obvious that Dan has prioritised the next 2-3 weeks playing indoor event in Europe. He needs to back up that decision.
