Interesting, I still would have thought two relatively big challengers after this would be the right way to go about backing up a run like this

Maybe the logistics of getting to Quimper from Zagreb and Dan's efforts this week mean its not sensible to make the journey. There are no direct flights to anywhere close enough and it's an 18 hour drive.

do we think evo gona go for indian wells and Miami now? his ranking should be enough for qualies atleast at the moment

This may well be part of it although he wouldn't be expected to play his first round till Tuesday at the earliest. All in all if he has chosen to give Quimper a miss and they play qualifying in Marseille I don't think anyone could really argue with that.
