Superb win. Some really good play at times and really strong mentally when it counted. Kohli was far from his best but that shouldn't detract from this win. That decision to train indoors instead of playing Maui has certainly proved to be a good one.
Brilliant. I was working and then driving with variable signal and finally managed to watch the last few points sat in the Maltings carpark in Uttoxeter. I cheered !!!!!!!
That win could take Dan as high as 123. Kutnetsov (currently on court against Haas) and Burgos (playing in the Dallas challenger) could both get ahead of him but WR 125 is the worst case scenario. A win tomorrow would take him to WR 108 and if we really want to dream then winning the tournament would take him to WR 86.

So that win has now confirmed that Evo has overtaken Wardy in the CH ranking stakes. Be really good to see Wardy respond now and race him to the Top 100.
I was wandering if anyone knows when was the last time the British number 2 was ranked in the top 125?
At least a couple of years I suspect?
Well done Dan!
PS: my first post for four and a half years!!
Probably a lot longer ago than the last time you posted Welcome home
Don't know the answer myself but given that none of the other current players has ever been inside the Top 125 (apart from Muzza of course) I would guess we would have to look back to the days of Henman and Rusedski.

Welcome back Ben!
27 August 2007 - Boggo at 125, a couple of months after he hit his career high of 108
Or if you're Tara Moore in disguise - 124 a week before that
