Overall, as I'd say was shown last year, ranking pointwise our players do pretty well from having a glut of British 10Ks and some 15Ks.

My big issue is the challenger borderline players not getting both the opportunity to benefit from and the increased challenge of more British challengers.

Wow, Smethurst just keeps getting better at the moment! Got him just inside my top 10 but he looks like he'll be knocking on the door for top 250 soon

Very pleased for Fancy Dan & Dave but I am slightly disappointed for Ed, I was hoping he would have a better start to the year.

I agree all re Steven's ranking points calculations on the previous page.

I wonder though if part of the "confusion" is that this week's men's top 25 table, which should be Week 5 commencing 27/01/14, is actually headed incorrectly as Week 6 commencing 03/02/14.

Does anyone mind informing of us of the support teams for these upcoming Brits?
Who's managing/coaching etc the likes of Cox, Smethy, Corrie, Edmund, Rice, and Golding?

Still on serve at 4-4, but Fancy Dan has hardly dropped a point on serve and has had 3 bps already.

Dave is now certain to break into the top 300, probably in the high 280s.
