She's 15 and ranked 622 in juniors. Won a few Grade 4 matches but that's about it.

Ema's ITF profile is only accessible from the junior homepage as she has not yet actually played in an adult event.

 

Tall girl for her age.  Emotions sometimes used to get the better of her on court but over the last year she has started playing really confidently and has consequently achieved much improved results.

They only got 3 matches played here over the weekend but Ema got her qualifying campaign under way today, with her first win opn the ITF PRo Circuit

Q1: LAZIC, Ema (GBR) WC UNR beat JHABRAILOVA, Elnara (RUS) UNR by 2 & 3

FQR: LAZIC, Ema (GBR) WC UNR v YEPISHEVA, Anastaiya (KAZ) 3 1182 (CH 870 in 2012)

This is the only FQR match that didn't get played today.

FQR: LAZIC, Ema (GBR) WC UNR lost to YEPISHEVA, Anastaiya (KAZ) 3 1182 (CH 870 in 2012) by 6-2 5-7 7-5

So close! Not a bad effort for her first ITF Pro Tour event.
