As is always the case, when there is a long game it seems pivotal to who will win the match. Tara has just won 2 long games in a row and is looking very good for the win as a result.
a good comeback and fight
stats sugest tara the betterer player overall wonder if pihlwrig is there again and will confirm later
these are the sorts of matches she needs to win perhaps easier if she gonna kick on this year
Another long Moore v Özgen match then, but this time without the long 3rd set tiebreak and the (from our point of view) right winner
L16: Tara Moore WR 212 beat Pemra Özgen (TUR) WR 224 (CH 209 in Sep) by 6-7(5) 6-3 6-2
QF: Tara Moore WR 212 v (2) An-Sophie Mestach (BEL) WR 136 (CH 131 in Oct)
H2H 1-2 - all in 2013, one retirement each and ASM won 8-6 in the 3rd set tiebreak in the other one. All of which suggests it could be very close and, er, a bit dangerous ...

well done tara
Not there, but on the stats a great battling performance. Yesterday was a mixture of sublime brilliance with periods where she'd take the foot off the gas/lose her way. Still though very encouraging after what happened at the OZ open.
