Jade has 4 points on the 2 Feb and then nothing to come off at all until May (!). And four 1 pointers to be knocked off.
This is going to be her 'money' months, time to really capitalise before the horrors of all those points to defend in summer. She should make a significant rise up the rankings without even doing too much.

Didn't see what happened to Manisha, but JoKo situation is a big worry. No obvious injury, but visibly upset afterwards, IB wouldn't elaborate about it afterwards, so fingers crossed, its nothing too important.
I only started watching her match against Jade at the beginning of the second set. She lacked her usual firey on court demeanour, which is very untypical, as she is always pumped up on court. I don't want to take anything away from Jade though who played very very well. She herself is having to deal with a back issue, which isn't serious but is still causing her a bit of pain.
Tara was on fire, but her opponent was out of sorts, so we'll see how she progresses the rest of the week.
Great to see such a convincing result from Tara - going through from the qualies last week and getting loads of matches in seems to have worked well. With JoKo retiring today and Laura still an injury doubt Tara might have a significant role to play in the Fed Cup too.
