We should get a finalist from the top half.
Will anyone stop Grigelis? He has bashed another Brit. Hope Dan S can turn the tables, assuming he beats Richard Gabb

Yes. Grigelis will.

According to ITF Livescores, serial Britbasher Grigelis has withdrawn and Sander Arends (WR 2138) will face the winner of Richard and Dan S in the QF.

Not someone, but someTHING, i.e. (presumably) an injury of some sort (picked up in his & Riccardo Bellotti's defeat in the doubles by Pauffers & George Morgan?), as Clay Crawford's conqueror yesterday, the Dutch qualifier, Sander Arends, has been given a walkover into the quarter-final! disbelief

Ed C is also down early at 0-2*

That's quite an ask, given that he's currently at 1-5.

1-6.  Obviously not to be but I like to optimism!  After Dan Cox's comback from 4-6 6-6 (1-6) to win, can Ed recover for the match though?

He is already a break down in the second! He can still do it though. He is just warming up....

Dave Rice wins very comfortably (especially for him) 6-2 6-1

Ed lost out 6-1 6-4 which is disappointing to say the least.

Harry's putting up a good show, losing the first set 6-4 and still a bit of mileage in that match, I reckon.

Dan C is a break up in the first and should win, although Enzo is young and climbed 1000 places last year, and won his first Q round in the Aussie open so will be going up further.

But Dan has now broken again and will serve for the set for a second time at *6-5

But makes certain of it at the next opportunity:  first set in the bag by 7-5.
