This is Dan's 8th Futures singles title and he has now won 14 of his last 16 matches since the start of Champaign Challenger qualifying or 18 of his last 20 including British Tour. He should move up to within about a dozen places of his career high, while Dave is closing in on the top 300.

Dave must be disappointed to have surrendered in straight sets, but since neither player was seeded to get past the quarter-finals, I'd say that both can take a lot of satisfaction from their respective performances this week, so .
