I'm a bit shocked that Grace Dixon has taken the 1st set against Jade (7-5) - the latter has served 9 dfs, which can't be helping.

Jasmine prevented the double bagel but Tara won 0 & 1 and plays Maia next.

Pirazhenka avenged that defeat against Lucy, winning 3 & 1

so Katy gets her next.

Jade is not out of the woods yet ... but she has broken for *4-3 in the 3rd.

26 double faults between them now and 22 break points - Grace has taken 4 from 9 and Jade 6 from 13.

Grace's career best ranking scalp as things stand is Bogdan WR 500 at Barnstaple last year, so with that and whatever ends up happening here, it looks like she is improving fast!
