R1: Paul Hanley / Jonathan Marray (AUS/GBR) v (1) Bob Bryan & Mike Bryan (USA)
R1: (15) Jamie Murray and John Peers (GBR / AUS) v (WC) Matt Reid & Luke Saville (AUS)
R1: (12) Dom Inglot & Treat Huey (GBR / PHI) v Robert Farah & Juan Sebastian Cabal (COL)
R1: Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins (GBR) v Marinko Matosevic & Michal Przysiezny (AUS / POL)
All Pairs are in the Top Half of the draw
Edited to show that Jamie & John are the fifteenth seeds, that their Aussie opponents are wild cards & to correct the spelling of a couple of the more awkward names.

I hadn't realised the Pesky Poles had split up this year (or am I way behind and it was last year!) - they've always seemed to be a bit of a banana skin for our boys so hopefully they are less potent apart.
Still, as you say Paulisi not bad draws and if Jonny and Hanley can pull off the miracle he'll cause Leon Smith even more selection problems for DC and wouldn't that be great

Morning all, I've been a long time silent follower of the forum for the last couple of years and really enjoy reading all of your opinions and updates on all the different tournaments. I've decided that this year I'll break silence and throw in my two cents every now and again, hopefully not upsetting too many of you in the process!
Following on from this thread, would anyone be able to tell me how close Ken and Neal Skupski were to being accepted into the main draw this year? I saw they were 5th or 6th on the alternates list maybe a week ago, but had hoped that there may be some withdrawals and that they could sneak a spot, but it looks like that wasn't the case
No, Fyrstenberg and Matkowski are still playing together; they only split up temporarily at the beginning of the year because Matkowski doesn't like to play that first week, so Fyrstenberg joined Nestor. (Someone has just pointed out that Nestor - winner of a tournament in each of the first two weeks of the year - is older than Pat Rafter. Extraordinary man).
Kind first-round draws for Messrs Murray, Peers, Fleming and Hutchins. In addition to the wretched draw for Mr Marray, can't say I think that Inglot/Huey must be thrilled with theirs.

Not sure where they finished on the list but I will take Smidsters word for it.
When I spoke to them in La Manga before Xmas, they had already accepted the fact that they wouldn't get into the draw and were structuring their pre-season around a Week 4 start in Germany for a Challenger.
Thanks for the welcome everyone. It would have been a great reward for Ken & Neal after a brilliant 2013 but I'm sure they'll enjoy 2014 nonetheless!
I was hoping to see Messrs Murray & Peers have a good run but rounds 2 and 3 certainly don't look kind, unless Mr Marray can have a Wimbledonesque run of form and send the Bryan boys home early. Best of luck to them all though.
