What I love about Kyle, is that he gets stronger as the match wears on, its a reputation which will stand him in good stead for the whole of his professional career.

Nice work. Not wanting to get ahead, and with all credit to their next opponents, but an Edmund final against either Nishioka or Mina (battling it out in the 3rd) would be interesting.

Beautiful. Who does he face in the semis?

Did the first set really take 90 minutes?! Crazy.

What was Kyle's record on BPs does anyone know? Sounds like both players saved a fair few.

Great result, well done Kyle! It sounds like there were some epic games in that one, brilliant work applying the pressure after fighting through a very tough first set. Hopefully he carry that momentum into his semi final match as well, best of luck to him.

1 Darian King (BAR) (wherezat??)

2 Dunno, but it felt like a week!

3 Kyle took 4/19, FW 1/9.  There were an awful lot of deuces as far as I saw.

Good news to come home to.

QF: (4) Kyle Edmund WR 372 beat (Q) Fritz Wolmarans (RSA) WR 640 by 7-5 6-1

SF: (4) Kyle Edmund WR 372 v Darian King (BAR) WR 483 (CH 384 in Aug 2013)

I'm tempted to say "No problem", but Darian is from Barbados and not Jamaica

Allez, Monsieur BIF !

A lot of water to go under the bridge before then. Still a chance that BIS could be more BIB than BIF by that date.

What is also disappointing for me is that Marseille clashes with the Murcia Futures, which is my most local tournament.

king looks like a solid player with solid results, but the fact that he hasn't beaten anyone in the top 400 for over a year suggest it is definitely on Kyle's racket
